Introducing the Continental AllSeasonContact 2

Continental is set to launch its latest all-season tyre - the Continental AllSeasonContact 2.

Building upon the success of its award-winning predecessor – the AllSeasonContact - this tyre offers exceptional driving control in any weather situation.

With a focus on efficiency, safety, and driving pleasure, Continental has developed a tyre that looks set to surpasses expectations.

Enhanced Performance

Continental has achieved impressive results with the AllSeasonContact 2.

Compared to its previous model, this tyre offers a 15% increase in mileage and a 6% reduction in rolling resistance.

These advancements come without compromising safety, providing better handling on dry roads and shorter braking distances on wet and dry surfaces.

Ride comfort, snow performance, and resistance to aquaplaning remain on par with its predecessor.

Innovative Design

Continental's engineers have incorporated innovative features into the AllSeasonContact 2.

The V-shaped tread pattern with C-shaped tread blocks effectively channels water away from the contact patch, improving wet weather performance. Reducing the risk of aquaplaning and increasing the braking capabilities in wet conditions.

The tyre's construction and use of new materials also help to significantly reduce energy losses, resulting in lower rolling resistance. Meaning the tyre helps to reduce the fuel usage of the vehicle.

Advanced Tread Compound

Continental have utilised their 'Chili' compound technologies to create an optimal tread compound for the AllSeasonContact 2.

New plasticisers provide secure grip and precise steering response in wintry conditions - traditionally the role of winter tyres - while a specialised polymer composition ensures excellent adhesion and short braking distances on both wet and dry roads.

Additionally, a flexible elastomer network adapts to different road surfaces, reducing wear and increasing mileage. Adding to the durability and longevity of the tyre.

Efficient All-Season Solution

The Continental AllSeasonContact 2 caters to vehicles of all drive types, making it an efficient choice for a wide range of vehicles.

The tyre has been marked as EV ready – meaning it is capable of meeting the needs of EV tyres. As well as hybrids and petrol/diesel.

With its outstanding performance values, this tyre offers a balanced solution for year-round driving needs.

AllSeasonContact 2 Availability

The AllSeasonContact 2 will be available on the market soon.

Continental will gradually release the tyre in a variety of sizes - ranging from 15 to 21 inches.

This covers 87 percent of vehicles in the market along with the first-generation AllSeasonContact.

By combining safety, balance, and efficiency, the AllSeasonContact 2 sets a new standard for all-season car tyres

With Continental's commitment to innovation and quality, drivers can experience enhanced performance and peace of mind in every weather condition.
