If you frequently drive in wet conditions and value safety in the rain above all else, Uniroyal offers a compelling case. Especially given the lower price point.

If you’re looking for tyres that perform consistently across all metrics, and are prepared to pay a little more, Michelin is a safe, well-rounded choice.
Uniroyal, on the other hand could be considered as more of a specialised and specifically focused tyre brand. With wet grip at the heart of their image.
Their tyres can be less expensive. Whilst they might not match Michelin in dry grip or longer wear life, their wet-weather capabilities are more often than not, excellent.
Choosing Between Michelin & Uniroyal
If your goal is to invest in premium engineering, high comfort, and longer tread life, Michelin is the clear leader.
Their tyres are built for versatility, and in most independent tests, they rank near the top.
But if your driving is mostly cities, or your main concern is how your tyres handle rain covered roads, Uniroyal might be worth a strong consideration.
