What's the difference between bar and PSI tyre pressure readings?

Bar and PSI are simply two different units for measuring the same tyre pressure — one bar equals roughly 14.5 PSI. The tables above list bar first with the PSI equivalent in brackets, so use whichever unit matches your pressure gauge.

Why do the front and rear tyre pressures differ on a Ford Fiesta?

Front and rear axles carry different amounts of weight, especially with the engine at the front, so Ford specifies different pressures for each. Always match the correct figure to the axle you're checking, particularly under full load with passengers or luggage.
