The Kumho Ecowing ES31 is a car tyre developed to help reduce the fuel consumption of a car.

Kumho have designed the Ecowing ES31 with an eco-friendly philosophy - using eco-compounds in the tyre's makeup.

The tyre features a asymmetric tread pattern, to enhance handling performance in both wet and dry conditions.

An optimal wet performance is achieved through the use of specially designed 4 wide main grooves within the tread, to quickly and efficiently remove surface water from the path of the tyre - also helping in the reduced risk of aquaplaning.

Kumho have also incorporated an aerodynamic shoulder design, for improved air resistance - in turn helping to enhance the tyre's fuel efficient capabilities.

The Kumho Ecowing ES31 is a summer tyre.

Replaced a set of these like for like we put on the vehicle ourselves several years ago. Tyres have a habit of not lasting long on the isle of man due to the short distances and salty air. These lasted well and did a good number of miles before the cracking began

I have previously stated I have nothing to make a comparison with and nothing has changed in that respect. I'm pleased with the tyres as they appear to have lasted well but if my driving style was harder or more erractic it's less likely I would have the same opinion. - I have no criticism of the tyres at all. Realistically, what is to be expected unless different tyres are fitted from month to month? The same tyres should do the same job taking into account wear that inevitably occurs. - I am perfectly satisfied with the tyres but I have nothing to compare them with other than the worn tyres that were previously on my vehicle
