The M4 motorway is the third largest motorway in the UK and runs from London to South Wales. Acting as a vital connection between England and Wales.
The English section of the M4 runs all the way to the Severn Bridge and was constructed over a ten year period between 1961 and 1971.
The M4 is the only motorway in Wales and overall spans a distance of approximately 189 miles (or 304 km).
