If you've ever driven across the Humber estuary, you might’ve wondered whether the toll for the Humber Bridge is justified.

Spanning one of the UK's most iconic suspension bridges, the toll supports maintenance and operations. Ensuring the bridge remains safe and reliable. 

The bridge can save a considerable distance when travelling. As well as the time it takes to travel between East Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire.

Current Humber Toll Rate (as of August 2025)

The current toll rate is due to go up very soon. As of the time of writing the price is:

Is cash accepted on the Humber Bridge? No, payments are only accepted via contactless card, mobile pay, or HumberTAG. Cash is no longer accepted.

As mentioned above, the tolls are set to rise for the first time since 2012:
