The figures in the table above come straight from the handbook, but Vauxhall also prints them on a sticker on the car itself, so you don't need to look anything up once you know where to find it. On most Corsas from this era it's on the driver's door pillar – open the driver's door and look down the edge of the frame the door shuts against. Some models carry the same sticker inside the fuel filler flap instead.
When you check, make sure the tyres are cold – ideally before the car has been driven, or after no more than a couple of miles. Tyres warm up as you drive, which raises the pressure reading, so topping up a warm tyre to the figure in the table can leave it under-inflated once it cools back down. Early morning, before the car has moved, is usually the most accurate time to check.
The table uses the engine codes straight from Vauxhall's handbooks, which don't always match the badge on the boot or the description on your V5. As a general rule, the two digits in the middle of the code give you the engine size in litres – so “10” is 1.0-litre, “12” is 1.2-litre, “13” is 1.3-litre diesel, “14” is 1.4-litre and “16” is 1.6-litre (fitted to the VXR and GSi performance models).
The exceptions are the EB2 family (EB2FA, EB2ADT and EB2LTE codes), which covers the 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol and turbo-petrol engines fitted to the 2019–2023 Corsa, and DV5 (DV5RD, DV5RC), the 1.5-litre diesel from the same generation.
Trim level doesn't change the recommended pressure on its own – tyre size does. SRi and SRi Nav models are usually fitted with 205/45 R17 or 215/45 R17 wheels, so use whichever row in the table matches the tyre size on your car rather than searching for the trim name. Vauxhall retired the dedicated “Eco” badge after the previous-generation Corsa D, but the same low-rolling-resistance idea carries on in the smaller 175/70 R14 and 185/65 R15 fitments on entry-level cars.

If a warning light shaped like a tyre with an exclamation mark appears on your dashboard, your Corsa has detected a pressure that doesn't match what it expects. Start by checking and correcting all four tyres – including the spare, if fitted – against the table above.
Most Corsas from this period use an indirect system, which reads tyre pressure via the wheel-speed sensors rather than a sensor fitted inside each tyre, so there's no reset button to press. Once the tyres are at the correct pressure:
A small number of higher-spec models use direct sensors fitted inside each wheel instead. If you've had a new tyre or wheel fitted on one of these, a tyre fitter can complete the relearn procedure with diagnostic equipment in a couple of minutes.
A small amount of pressure loss is normal – tyres are slightly porous and typically lose around 1–2 psi a month even with no fault at all. Temperature plays a part too: pressure drops by roughly 1 psi for every 5–6°C fall, so it's worth checking more often as the weather turns colder.

If all four tyres are dropping evenly, it's most likely down to temperature or normal porosity. If just one keeps dropping, it's best to get it checked at a garage or tyre fitting centre rather than repeatedly topping it up.
