Ok service, 4 stars, taking a star off because my nice black alloys now have steel coloured tyre balances on them, would have been nice to have put black ones on instead as it's now a bit of an eye sore. Also tyre lube could have been washed off. Overall I would recommend. it's what it says on the tin but it's not above standard.

Went to this garage and sat and watched them put my new two winter tyres on which was fine, I was then handed my keys and told the job was done. I asked was the free tracking done he said yes even though I just watched them do nothing apart from put the tyres on and then I asked if the free winter check was done he said yes your tyres are fine. I asked if a winter check meant just checking the tyres and was told yes. Needless to say I am not over chuffed with this garage.

Delighted with the service from McConechy's. Staff were friendly, tyres fitted quickly as promised and today they re-checked the torque on wheel nuts for free! Excellent service - would use them again and recommend to others.

Good but initial welcome was very average and didn't make you feel valued. Recovered somewhat by the fitter who handed the car over to me who was very cheerful and helpful. Overall not a bad service but not very good.

"Great friendly and personal service. Took care with my alloy wheels, checked pressures were correct for my car and wheel nuts torqued to correct setting (many places in the past have seemed to just inflate to whatever they feel like and overtighten the nuts). I'm glad I didn't overlook this wee place for a big chain, I got better service and attention to detail."
