Where can I find MOT history?

You can check your MOT history online through the official GOV.UK MOT history checker.

All you need is your vehicle’s registration number to access past test results, including dates, mileage readings, pass or fail status, and any recorded advisories.

This service is free to use and provides a detailed overview of your vehicle’s MOT records going back several years.

It's especially useful if you’ve recently bought a used car or motorcycle and want to see how well it’s been maintained.

For even more information, you can also check the MOT status and tax expiry date using the DVLA’s vehicle enquiry tool.
