Given the nature of the MOT Test and the purpose behind it – to ensure vehicles being used on the road are safe and meet legal standards – the MOT inspection is thorough but fair.
All the major parts of the vehicle will be checked – as well as registration details and the identification of the vehicle.
If you would like to watch the inspection take place, you can do this from a viewing area. However, you are not allowed to interrupt or intervene when the inspection is taking place.
During the test, the following parts of the car will be checked by the test inspector:
