What should you do if you puncture your tyre?

If you notice that your tyre has been punctured, it's important to act quickly.

First, pull over to a safe location if possible - such as the side of the road or a hard shoulder.

Avoid driving on the punctured tyre as this can cause damage to the wheel.

If the puncture is small and the tyre is still holding air, you may be able to temporarily fix it with a tyre repair kit.

However, if the puncture is large or the tyre is completely flat, you'll most likely need to replace the tyre.

Do I need a new tyre after a puncture?

Whether or not you need a new tyre after a puncture depends on the severity of the damage.

If the puncture is small and located on the tread of the tyre, a professional may be able to repair it.

However, if the puncture is larger than 6mm or located on the sidewall of the tyre, the tyre will need to be replaced.
