Competition Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions are applicable to all Blackcircles.com ran competitions. Please view our Facebook, Instagram & X (formerly Twitter) pages to enter.

1. The competition will run from the moment it is published on Facebook, Instagram, and/or X until the date & time specified within the post.

2. The competition prize is as specified within the post.

3. To obtain an entry into the competition an entrant has multiple different ways – unless another entry method is specified within the post – these include liking, commenting, sharing or tagging in a friend or family member on the post.

4. The winner will be drawn after the competition ends and contacted publicly on the posts. On Instagram and X, the winner will be sent a direct message where possible.

5. Should Blackcircles.com be unable to make contact with a winner within 2 days or should a winner be unable to accept their prize, the Promoter reserves the right to award that prize to an alternative winner, drawn in accordance with these terms and conditions.

6. The prizes are subject to availability, non-transferable, and there are no cash alternatives.

7. Winners will be drawn from all social media entries (i.e. retweets and comments unless stated otherwise) at random.

8. The prize draw is open to residents of the UK excluding Northern Ireland, aged 18 years or over, except employees of Blackcircles.com, the prize sponsors, their families, agents or anyone else professionally associated with the draw.

9. It is a condition of entry that all rules are accepted as final and that the claimant agrees to abide by these rules.

10. The winners may be required to participate in reasonable publicity on behalf of Blackcircles.com.

11. Events may occur that render the prize draw itself or the awarding of the prize impossible due to reasons beyond the control of Blackcircles.com and accordingly Blackcircles.com may at its absolute discretion vary or amend the promotion and the entrant agrees that no liability shall attach to Blackcircles.com as a result thereof.

12. Blackcircles.com reserves the right to withdraw and competition/ promotion at any time.

Terms and conditions for Blackcircles ‘Win a FREE set of tyres’ promotion

The ‘Blackcircles Win a FREE set of tyres’ promotion (the ‘Promotion’) is open to all consumers who are UK residents aged 18 and over, except Blackcircles (the ‘Promoter’) employees and their families, its agencies or third party directly connected with the creation and administration of this Promotion, or trade customers including tyre dealer’s employees. This offer is open to retail customers only (excludes company vehicle drivers).

Only one entry per person is permitted.

By participating in this Promotion, claimants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and by any other requirements set out in the promotional material.

There is a purchase requirement. Claimants must purchase up to four passenger vehicle tyres in a single transaction for a single vehicle between 8th April 2024 and 31st December 2024.

The Promotion will provide, when using the relevant discount code, a purchase discount in-basket to the following value: £1000. Prize excludes fitting, delivery, and any other incidental costs in relation to redeeming this prize.

Closing date for the Promotion is 22nd April 2024. Entries received after this time will not be accepted.

The Promoter will select the winners at random from the suitable entries on 22nd April 2024.

To be eligible for entry into the competition, entrants must comment on the official Blackcircles.com Facebook, Instagram, or X posts posted on 22nd April 2024.

Winners will be drawn from all social media entries (i.e. retweets and comments unless stated otherwise) at random using Comment Picker.

The winners will be notified on social media on 22nd April 2024, they must respond via direct message on social media. If a winner does not respond to the Promoter within 48 hours of being notified by the Promoter, then the winner’s prize will be forfeited and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner.

The prize is subject to availability and is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.

The images used in the promotional material are for illustrative purposes only. The Promoter does not claim any rights of ownership in competition entries.

Personal data supplied during the course of this prize draw may be passed on to third party suppliers only insofar as required for fulfilment/delivery/arrangement of the prize. For further details, please refer to the privacy notice set out below. 

The prize is subject to availability and is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.

To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winners or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is directly caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Entrants’ statutory rights are not affected. 

The Promoter reserves the right to publish or make available on request information about a prize winner that indicates that a valid award took place (usually by way of surname and country of the prize winner only or their social media handle) and, if applicable, their winning entries. If you do not wish this information to be published or made available on request to the Promoter or wish to reduce the amount of information published or made available please contact the Promoter at [email protected]. This will not prevent the Promoter from providing the information and winning entry to the relevant supervisory authority if requested.

Entry into this Promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer supported by the Promoter. The Promoter reserves the right to dispute a discount if it believes the purchase is not legitimate and amend, suspend or cancel the Promotion where it becomes necessary to do so. The Promoter’s decision is final.

(Blackcircles.com) solely to administer and organise the competition. Blackcircles.com will retain the information for 6 months following the end date of the competition. We will use your agreement to enter the competition as the legal basis for processing your personal data. We will only share your personal data to the extent that you are the competition winner and we decide to publish the winner’s name on our @Blackcircles Facebook and Twitter pages.
