Very happy as we get a lot of rain in central scotland and some snow and we live at top of hill 475 feet up so its important to have good tyres for conditions and run-flats give extra confidence should you get a puncture as roads are very busy and you do not want to be stuck at roadside! - Perform in wet and snow but are a bit noisy

the M+S tyres produce a little more road noise than summer tyres but it is a small price to pay with the excellent grip they offer during inclement weather

A lot smoother and quieter then the original Bridgestone RFTs. Excellent grip and brake performance. Completely changed the ride quality of the car

I chose these Goodyear winter tyres after a good review in Auto Express. This pair replaced some relatively old Pirelli Sottozeros on my C350 cdi. I had to choose a slightly higher profile to those of the normal tyres the car was fitted with as they were not available as winter tyres. The ride has improved as a result and the grip has been outstanding in the recent snow enabling me to drive where I want without the risk of getting stuck. More importantly the stopping distances are much better with winters on. The grip in the snow and ice was good enough for me to choose the rear drive Mercedes over my 4x4 Hilux. Performance generally not on snow and ice is good if noisier than normal tyres.

The tyres are performing very well even though we haven’t had much snow I can definitely feel a difference in cold/wet conditions. I do a lot of motorway driving and had an aqua plane effect through standing water with my old tyres. With the winter tyres I feel nothing which must be due to the water dispersement. Would definitely buy again.

I was surprised at the difference the new tyres made. Last year my car was not drivable in snow or ice so far I have had no issues.

Vast improvement. These were very highly rated as winter tyres not only in the snow and slush but in cold weather in general. I immediately found a huge improvement in the grip even though my existing 'standard' Michellin tyres still have plenty of tread depth remaining. I will cycle the tyres once good weather settles and hope these will last for several years. I feel much safer driving with these on the car.

So far so good - the grip in cold temperatures is even better than expected. There's also an improvement in the ride quality due to the softer rubber compound used on these tyres.
