Developed to deliver an improved performance, the CrossClimate 2 outperforms the CrossClimate+ in dry weather, wet conditions, snow braking and traction.
To provide a top performance throughout the year, the CrossClimate 2 is also snow certified (3PMSF - 3 Peak Mountains Snowflakes) and a leader in its category for winter performance (1).
Designed to be a leader in the premium all season category (2), when tested at the legal wear limit for wet braking, snow braking and traction the CrossClimate delivered excellent longevity and evenly distributed the forces of acceleration, braking and cornering for a longer tread life (1).
Michelin's 'EverTread Technology' helps to evenly distribute the forces of driving on the tyre, allowing for a longer tread life.
The rolling resistance of the Michelin CrossClimate 2 has been decreased by 10% vs Michelin CrossClimate+ (3), in doing so this has led to fuel consumption comparable to summer tyre standards (4).
Energy absorbed by the sidewall when braking and cornering, is lower compared to standard sidewalls. This contributes to reduced fuel consumption, or improved battery range for electric vehicles.
