Hankook have developed the Ventus Prime2 as a high-performance summer tyre focused on wet-weather safety, responsive handling and everyday comfort. It has been developed with a full-silica compound and a performance tread pattern - to deliver strong grip and short braking distances. This version features HRS, the Hankook Runflat System.
Ventus Prime2 HRS tyres are available in 15 inch, 16 inch, 17 inch, 18 inch and 19 inch rim tyre sizes.
Grip and Cornering
A block-edge tread design - based on Hankook's nature-inspired 'jaguar tooth' pattern - dovetails with the road to optimise grip when accelerating and cornering. A multi-radius profile distributes pressure evenly across the contact area.
Wet Performance
Four wide circumferential grooves channel standing water away from the contact patch to resist aquaplaning in wet weather. Combined with a full-silica compound for short braking distances.
HRS Runflat System
The Hankook Runflat System reinforces the sidewalls so they can temporarily support the vehicle's weight after a puncture and complete loss of air pressure.
