Hankook have developed the Ventus S1 evo2 Sound Absorber as a summer passenger car tyre for balanced wet and dry performance. The tyre is offered with runflat and foam technology options, supporting stability, comfort and reduced road noise where these specifications are fitted.

This tyre features Hankook’s Sound Absorber system, which uses a noise-absorbing polyurethane foam inlay positioned inside the tyre cavity. Combined with a fine layer of Sealguard material, it helps significantly reduce internal noise levels during driving.

Ventus S1 evo2 tyres are available in 19 inch rim tyre sizes.

Wet and Dry Control

The Ventus S1 evo2 uses an optimised triple Tread Radius profile based on racing profile technology. This profile helps maintain a stable contact shape during high-speed driving, supporting consistent performance in both wet and dry conditions.

Braking and Handling Stability

The tread and carcass design are engineered to manage vertical and lateral load transfer across the footprint. Balanced tread block stiffness helps support shorter braking distances on wet and dry surfaces. While the profile design contributes to stable handling.

Heat and Noise Management

Groove turbulence is used to help regulate heat on the tyre surface, while an increased contact area supports faster heat release during driving. Foam technology disperses road surface sound and absorbs shocks inside the tyre, and the aero sidewall dimple design helps reduce air turbulence, noise and vibration.
