Hankook have developed the Ventus Prime2 as a summer tyre focused on wet-weather safety. With responsive handling and everyday comfort. They have paired a silica compound with a performance tread pattern for strong grip.

This version features SealGuard self-sealing technology - Hankook's first self-sealing tyre. It is original equipment on the Volkswagen Touran.

Ventus Prime2 SealGuard tyres are available in 18 inch passenger car fitments.

Grip and Handling

A block-edge tread design - Hankook's 'jaguar tooth' pattern - optimises grip when accelerating and cornering. A triple-radius profile maintains traction during cornering and in the wet. 

Wet Performance and Efficiency

Circumferential grooves channel standing water away from the contact patch to resist aquaplaning, supporting maximum traction and enhanced braking in the wet. A new silica compound also improves fuel consumption.

SealGuard Self-Sealing

SealGuard coats a tacky, viscous adhesive layer from shoulder to shoulder inside the tyre. When an object up to 5mm in diameter punctures the tread, the material immediately seals around it to maintain air pressure.
