Michelin have developed the Pilot Power 3 as a supersport road tyre for sports bikes and roadsters. Built for grip and handling on fast road riding with occasional track use.
It is the successor to the popular Pilot Power 2CT. And pairs new compounds with a semi-slick tread.
Pilot Power 3 tyres are available in 17 inch front and rear fitments for sports bikes and roadsters.
Dual-Compound Technology
The tyre uses Michelin's 2CT dual-compound layout on the front and 2CT+ on the rear. Pairing a harder centre compound for tread life - with softer shoulder compounds for cornering grip. On the rear, 2CT+ extends the harder compound beneath the softer shoulder to enhance cornering stability.
Wet and Dry Grip
All-new compounds using SBR (Styrene Butadiene Rubber) technology deliver strong grip on both dry and wet surfaces. While a semi-slick tread design maximises the contact patch.
Handling and Feedback
An optimised casing profile enhances tread rigidity and cornering stability, giving the rider excellent feedback and handling.
