Michelin have developed the S83 as a classic scooter tyre for retro machines such as the Vespa PX. It was long fitted as original equipment on Vespa and other classic scooters.
S83 tyres are available in front and rear fitments for classic scooters with 8 to 10 inch wheels.
Wet Grip
A heavily siped tread pattern gives the tyre maximum grip in wet conditions, which suits it to slippery city roads.
Durability
A reinforced crown with additional casing material on top of two carcass plies helps the tyre resist premature wear.
Classic Style and Stable Handling
The traditional tread design gives classic scooters a timeless, vintage look, while the cross-ply construction delivers stable handling and good straight-line manners.
