Who owns Kumho tyres?

In July of 2018, Chinese tyre company Doublestar acquired majority shares of Kumho. At the time, Doublestar Industrial Co. Ltd. Acquired 45% stake in the South Korean tyre company in a £482 million deal. Kumho also have other institutional backing, with companies stuch as Woorie Financial Group and the Korea Development Bank having a stake in Kumho.

Who and where do Kumho tyres get manufactured?

Kumho manufacture their own tyres in several manufacturing facitilities. Kumho have three main manufacturing plants based in South Korea, the Pyeongtaek Plant, the Gokseong Plant and the Gwangju Plant. Kumho also have three facilities in China which helps the brand distribute to 180 countries worldwide.

Is it Kumho tyres or Kumho tires?
