KingTyre have developed the K97 Classic Racing as a road-legal racing motorcycle tyre designed for classic competition machines. The supersoft compound is engineered to deliver maximum grip for short race distances and demanding track conditions. Derived from compound technology used in the K00 Slick and K06 Supersport race tyres.
K97 Classic Racing tyres are available in sizes covering most 250cc to 500cc classic race bikes.
The supersoft compound is formulated to provide the highest level of mechanical grip during racing conditions. It is designed to reach operating temperature quickly and deliver strong traction during aggressive cornering and acceleration.
The compound technology is developed from KingTyre’s modern racing tyres, including the K00 Slick and K06 Supersport. This formulation is designed to maintain consistent performance under the loads experienced during competitive track use.
A Zero Degree steel belt construction enhances stability at the high speeds experienced on circuit. This structure helps maintain a stable contact patch during braking, acceleration and cornering.
