KingTyre have developed the K06 Racing Street as a sport road tyre designed to deliver a race like performance for high-powered motorcycles.
Based closely on the K06 Supersport race tyre, it combines a race-derived construction with a semi-slick tread design. This helps to support strong grip, stability and feedback on both the road and the track.
The tyre uses construction and materials developed from KingTyre’s racing programme. This approach transfers track-focused design principles to road use, supporting precise handling and responsive performance. As a result, riders benefit from improved feedback and control during high-performance riding.
A semi-slick tread design helps to maximise the available tread surface - for an increase to the tyre’s contact with the tarmac. The profile is shaped to maintain an effective contact patch at high lean angles. helping the tyre remain stable during cornering.
A Zero Degree steel belt structure enhances high-speed stability and helps maintain consistent tyre shape under load. The construction also absorbs shocks from the road surface.
