Dunlop have developed the SP Winter Sport 4D as a high-performance winter tyre for sports cars. It has been built to deliver traction on dry, wet, slushy and snow-covered roads.

Fitted as original equipment on Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Porsche, it carries the 3PMSF winter marking.

SP Winter Sport 4D tyres are available in a range of passenger car fitments from 15 to 21 inch.

Snow and Ice Traction

A 4D advanced interlocking sipe system creates independent micro-blocks that distribute footprint pressure evenly for strong snow handling. As well as cornering grip and braking on ice. This has helped to earn the tyre its 3PMSF severe-winter certification.

Wet and Snow Water Clearance

A distinctive V-shaped directional tread, with deep snow notches. For traction in soft or packed snow while dispersing water and slush from beneath the tyre to resist hydroplaning. 

Cold-Weather Compound and Handling

An adaptive winter compound - a motorsport-derived silica-plus blend - stays flexible in cold, wet and icy conditions for reliable low-temperature grip and braking, while a lightweight construction with a JointLess Band supports responsive, stable handling. This keeps a performance car composed through the winter.
