Bridgestone have developed the Battlax BT-090 as a high-performance sport radial tyre for middle-size motorcycles. It uses a high-grip silica-rich compound and a rigid construction for confident cornering. It is fitted as original equipment on select models including the Yamaha WR250X.
Battlax BT-090 tyres are available in 17 inch front and rear fitments for middle-size sports motorcycles.
Grip Across Temperatures
A high-grip tread compound maintains a high level of grip from the start of a ride to the finish. This gives the tyre strong gripping capability even in cold conditions.
Cornering and Slide Control
A tread pattern with fewer grooves at the edges and more in the centre puts more rubber on the road when leaned over. A higher sidewall rigidity improves contact feel and slide control. Together they increase cornering grip.
Stability and Durability
MS Belt construction produces a lighter tyre for better stability and manoeuvrability. It minimises heat generation for longer tyre life and reliable traction.
