Bridgestone have developed the Battlax BT45 as a sport-touring tyre for mid-sized sport-touring bikes. It has been designed for all-round street performance with an emphasis on riding comfort, long mileage and wet grip. It uses a silica-enriched compound and a multi-compound rear construction.

Battlax BT45 tyres are available in front and rear fitments across rim sizes from 16 to 21 inch.

Wet and Dry Grip

A silica-enriched compound improves grip in both wet and dry conditions. Directional grooves on the front tyre and zigzag centre grooves clear water efficiently and support high-speed stability.

Dual Tread Compound

The rear tyre uses Bridgestone's Dual Tread Compound (DTC), pairing a durable centre compound for long mileage with softer edge compounds for grip and performance when cornering. This lets the tyre balance touring durability with cornering confidence.

Stability and Comfort

A larger crown radius contributes to greater stability and longer tyre life, aiding confidence when cornering at high-speed touring pace. Bridgestone's sidewall profile design adds a cushioning effect for high-speed stability and ride comfort.
