Bridgestone have developed the Battlax Adventure A41 as a road-biased adventure tyre - roughly 90% on-road, 10% off-road. It has been designed for high-displacement adventure bikes, with a strong emphasis on wet-weather performance, stability and wear life. This G version is the original-equipment specification homologated for the BMW F850GS (2018 on).
Battlax Adventure A41 G tyres are available in the fitment specified for the BMW F850GS.
Wet Performance
An increased groove ratio at the shoulder improves water dispersion, while a reduced groove ratio in the centre increases block rigidity for shorter wet braking and straight-line stability.
Grip and Mileage
A 3LC dual-compound front and a 3LC cap-and-base rear - a soft silica cap over a medium silica base - deliver grip on the shoulders and mileage through the centre, with improved shock absorption and no loss of rigidity.
Stability
Mono-Spiral Belt (MSB) construction and a revised case enhance contact feel and high-speed stability, while a larger centre tread block on the rear improves wear life and stability.
