Porsche has long defined the world of performance; and its latest moves prove it’s also a master of modern culture. Discover how the iconic brand teamed up with pop sensation Dua Lipa to redefine automotive artistry with a custom-built Renstall 518-hp 911 GT3 RS.
When you think Porsche, it’s hard not to imagine decades of roaring engines, iconic silhouettes and a heritage so rich it practically oozes cool. With over 76 years of innovation, this isn’t a brand that lacks imagination. Porsche has tastefully cemented its presence, not just on the track, but in modern arts and culture – from gaming grandstands to high-fashion collabs. Now, it’s proven that classic cool can absolutely thrive in the digital age.
When headlines broke that pop powerhouse Dua Lipa had formed a creative alliance with Stuttgart's finest — we couldn’t help but marvel in the brand’s genius. Lipa’s distinct individuality and global social media presence make her an ideal candidate to connect Porsche with a younger, dynamic audience. As a self-confessed car enthusiast who thrives on learning and submitting to new experiences, her mindset perfectly mirrors Porsche's own relentless pursuit of adaptation and artistry; creating a powerful link to a new generation of potential enthusiasts.

How did this love affair begin? It all kicked off in 2023 when Dua dropped by the Porsche Experience Centre in LA. Under the sizzling California sun, she took a 911 Turbo S for a spin for the first time, then sealed the deal with a thrill ride in a classic 911 – clearly, love at first rev. Porsche had her hooked, and we can’t blame her. By the following year, her involvement blossomed: she co-wrote and directed a short film for the all-electric Porsche Macan.
Porsche afforded Dua complete creative freedom to bring her vision to life. The result? A whirlwind of stunning visuals, transporting viewers from foggy urban landscapes to the moon (and back), for an adrenaline-pumping hot lap. Confirming just why Porsche had chosen this global sensation as the main character.

Fast forward to this year, Dua Lipa didn't just get a Porsche; she created one. Behold the ‘Dua Lipa Rennstall Porsche 911 GT3 RS’, her custom supercar, a rolling testament to her edgy style and admirable ability to combine all things classic and modern.
Porsche has always drawn exhilaration from motorsport's vibrant culture. Naturally, the Monaco Grand Prix, arguably the Met Gala of the racing calendar, provided the perfect stage for Dua’s next move. Revealing the Rennstall 911 GT3 RS, she effortlessly blended in, engaging with drivers and diving headfirst into the Grand Prix buzz. She even took a heart-stopping passenger lap in her own car, experiencing the raw intensity of the legendary circuit.
And if that wasn't enough, we were lucky enough to attend the same weekend as her at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2025. Taking her custom ride up the iconic hillclimb, Dua once again proved she's not just a passenger, but a festival highlight.

Beneath the bonnet, a formidable 4.0-litre naturally aspirated flat-six doesn't just produce power; it sings a 9,000 rpm aria, delivering 518 horses. This raw energy is expertly managed by a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch gearbox, propelling the car from 0-62mph in a blistering 3.2 seconds and on to a top speed of 184 mph. Crucially, its active aerodynamics, including a massive rear wing with a clever Formula 1-style drag-reduction system, press the car to the tarmac with a staggering 860 kg of downforce at 177 mph.
Ever wanted to own a slice of pop culture? Well, you can. Oh, the possibilities. Dua’s distinctive 911 GT3 RS went up for auction on July 13, 2025. Adorned in a unique green and boldly streaked with black, gold, and red, this one-of-a-kind sportscar, whether you’re a fan of pop or Porsche.
