Pirelli have designed the Scorpion Verde All Season NCS for SUVs to provide a balanced performance in various driving conditions whilst also being engineered to be green.
Thanks to the structure, tread pattern and use of modern resources, this tyre has been created to give a higher mileage, more comfortable and safe drive on all road surfaces whilst also respecting the environment. With four longitudinal grooves and a large contact patch – helping water flow from the tyre thus increasing safety in wet conditions, while the longitudinal and high lateral density sipes increase grip in all conditions – giving a balanced performance.
With Pirelli’s Noise Cancelling System, the road noise within the vehicle is greatly reduced giving a noticeably quieter drive – this is done thanks to a sound absorbing device on the inside wall of the tyre.
What is an All Season tyre?
Designed to cope with all sorts of conditions - good performance delivered throughout the year. Moderate natural rubber content to stop the tyre hardening in temperatures below 0 degrees Celsius – enhancing grip. Designed with moderate tread depths that have been engineered to help deliver a longer tread life than many summer tyres
Are All Season tyres suitable for the UK?
Given that the UK suffers from moderate and interchangeable winter conditions - with severe ice and snow becoming uncommon for much of the country - this makes all season tyres a very good choice for our roads. As they are able to cope with these conditions very well.
Do I need to swap my tyres throughout the year?
Given the nature of all season tyres, which can perform equally well in the summer months and the winter months, the need to replace tyres depending on the seasons is not required when all season tyres are fitted.
