Yokohama have developed the BluEarth-GT AE51 as a grand touring summer tyre. An evolution of the BluEarth-GT AE50, it is recognised and fitted as original equipment by manufacturers including Subaru, Lexus, Toyota and Mazda.

BluEarth-GT AE51G tyres are available in a range of passenger car fitments from 15 to 20 inch.

Fuel Efficiency

A two-layer tread compound, developed with Yokohama's BluEarth technology, and a lightweight construction reduce rolling resistance for improved fuel economy - without compromising wet and dry grip.

Wet Grip and Stability

Lightning Grooves remove the film of water beneath the tyre through their edge effect for enhanced wet grip, while blade-cut sipes add traction and a highly rigid triple centre rib ensures straight-line stability at high speeds.

Handling and Comfort

An asymmetric tread pattern controls block rigidity to balance handling stability with comfort, while a randomised, computer-tuned tread pitch breaks up disruptive frequencies to reduce road noise.
