OE-derived ADVAN compound

The Advan Sport V107A’s compound draws on technology developed for original equipment versions of the V107, and Yokohama report wet handling and stability around 10% better than the V105 it replaces. The EU labels we’ve reviewed show wet grip in the top A class.
 

Matrix body-ply structure

Developed with testing at Yokohama’s Nürburgring test centre, the Advan Sport V107A carries over the matrix body-ply structure from the V105 to deliver steering stability at high speed.
 

Improved mound profile

Yokohama say a newly improved mound profile strengthens the gripping power of the Advan Sport V107A, working with an asymmetric tread that delivers different performance from its inner and outer sides.
