Yokohama have developed the Advan Sport V105 as an ultra-high-performance summer tyre for high-powered sports cars. Developed on the demanding Nürburgring circuit. It is fitted as original equipment on a range of vehicles.
Advan Sport V105D tyres are available in a range of passenger car fitments from 16 to 22 inch.
Dry Handling and Grip
Yokohama's Sport Compound 5S, enhanced with micro-silica and orange oil, keeps the tread pliable for strong adhesion. Large outer shoulder blocks and the Matrix Body Ply Structure - an angled rayon body ply - maintain lateral rigidity for razor-sharp steering and high-speed cornering.
Wet Performance
An increased groove area on the inner portion of the asymmetric tread, combined with variable-width grooves, channels water out of the contact patch to maximise wet grip and resist aquaplaning at high speeds.
Comfort, Longevity and Efficiency
A 5-pitch variation and Quiet Sipe Design reduce pattern noise for a quiet, comfortable ride, while unique Sport Profile Ribs promote even wear.
