Low-rolling-resistance EV compound

Yokohama built the EV V108D’s compound from technology first developed for premium OE fitment, then re-tuned to cut rolling resistance and stretch out an EV’s driving range on a single charge.

EV-tuned casing response

Because electric vehicles deliver their full torque from a standstill, the EV V108D’s casing is set up to absorb that load without the tread squirming, keeping power delivery composed.

Nürburgring-developed tread geometry

Rather than adapting a combustion-car pattern, the EV V108D inherits the Advan Sport V107’s tread geometry, developed and validated on the Nürburgring circuit for steering stability.
