Yokohama have developed the Advan Sport EV V108 as an ultra-high-performance summer tyre developed specifically for electric vehicles. An evolution of the Advan Sport V107, it balances EV range and efficiency with high-performance grip and a quiet ride.
Advan Sport EV V108A tyres are available in a range of passenger car fitments from 18 to 22 inch.
EV Range and Grip
An Advan EV Compound - blending a silane coupling agent, ultra-micro silica and polymers - strikes a careful balance between wet performance and low rolling resistance, extending electric driving range.
Dry and Wet Handling
The proven V107 tread design uses wider 3+1 main grooves for strong water drainage and a high-rigidity wide shoulder for powerful dry grip, while a rayon matrix body ply and solid centre ribs deliver precise steering and cornering.
Quiet Ride
Silent Foam technology inside the tyre reduces the road noise heard in the cabin, while a new shape of silent sipes suppresses external noise. Together they deliver the refined, quiet ride expected of an electric vehicle.
