Yokohama Advan dB V552A

Yokohama Advan dB V552A product description & features

• Whisper-quiet running
• Fuel-efficiency focus
• Even tread wear

If you’re in need of whisper-quiet running, then the Yokohama Advan dB V552A is for you.

Boasting a fuel-efficient side compound and twist edge chamfering on its tread blocks, the Advan dB V552A is also designed for fuel efficiency and even wear.

Yokohama Advan dB V552A tyres are available in 15-inch rim sizes.

Silent base compound

Beneath the tread, the Advan dB V552A uses a silent base compound with its gauge optimised for each size, working with a wide belt and belt edge cover that stiffen the shoulder and control vibration. Its 185/65R15 size carries an A-class, 67 dB exterior noise rating.

Fuel-efficient side compound

Yokohama fitted the Advan dB V552A with a fuel-efficient compound in the sidewalls, alongside a new dB tread compound that improves silica dispersion for better wet grip and fuel efficiency. The size is rated C for fuel efficiency and B for wet grip.

Twist edge chamfering

Twisted, chamfered block edges on the Advan dB V552A tread help disperse tyre noise and reduce the chance of uneven wear, helping its quietness last as the tread wears down.

The Yokohama Advan dB V552A is currently manufactured in one variant:

• Passenger car

Please note: before you select your tyres, check that the tyre size you intend to buy matches your vehicle type.
