Yokohama Advan dB Prius+ V551V

Yokohama Advan dB Prius+ V551V product description & features

• Cabin hush
• Composed handling
• Rolling efficiency

If you’re in need of a hushed cabin, then the Yokohama Advan dB V551V is for you.

Boasting an asymmetric tread designed specifically for the dB range and a nano-power rubber compound, the Advan dB V551V also handles with composure and is designed to roll efficiently.

Yokohama Advan dB V551V tyres are available in 16-inch rim sizes.

Silence-focused tyre profile

Yokohama launched the Advan dB in 2009 under a ‘Power of Silence’ concept, combining a new profile design with a dedicated tread and compound to reduce the noise that reaches the cabin. The Advan dB V551V is a 205/60R16 article of that tyre.

dB-specific asymmetric tread

Yokohama designed an asymmetric pattern exclusively for the Advan dB range to balance quietness with driving performance, so the Advan dB V551V stays composed through bends without trading handling for silence.

Nano-power rubber compound

The Advan dB V551V uses a nano-power rubber compound developed for the dB range, which Yokohama credit with combining strong wet performance and low rolling resistance. On the EU tyre label, it is rated B for wet grip and C for fuel efficiency.

The Yokohama Advan dB V551V is currently manufactured in one variant:

• Passenger car

Please note: before you select your tyres, check that the tyre size you intend to buy matches your vehicle type.
