Vredestein have developed the Comtrac 2 Winter+ as a winter tyre for vans and light commercial vehicles, combining high stability and reliability in winter conditions with long tyre life. It carries the M+S and 3PMSF winter markings.
Comtrac 2 Winter+ tyres are available in a range of van and commercial fitments from 15 to 16 inch.
Snow Traction and Braking
A high density of winter sipes, combined with a compound stiffness optimised to align with the pattern stiffness, delivers a 5% improvement in snow handling and snow braking over its predecessor. This earns the tyre its 3PMSF severe-winter certification.
Wet Braking
An optimised tread compound, blending silica and polymers, delivers strong wet grip and notably shorter wet braking distances, while circumferential grooves clear water from the contact patch to resist aquaplaning.
Tyre Life and Stability
An optimised compound with special grades of reinforcing filler improves tyre life by over 20%, while an internal construction optimised for higher stiffness improves stability and controllability under load.
