The Uniroyal RainSport 3 is an asymmetric tyre that has been designed with Uniroyal's 'Shark Skin Technology' to greatly enhance the tyre's performance in wet conditions.

The tyre features a tread pattern optimised to ensure that surface water is dispersed from the path of the tyre efficiently and quickly, greatly reducing the risk of aquaplaning.

A special tread pattern also ensure that the tyre's contact area with the road is increased, to significantly shorten the braking distance - when compared with previous models.

To deliver strong traction in corners, the RainSport 3 features a flexible tread block to ensure the tyre achieves optimum grip when cornering.

The tyres grip well especially in the wet and on muddy roads - other tyres I've had on the car have just spun or the traction control kicks in on slippery surfaces. They are predictable in snow - but I would not want to drive long periods. Dry weather they are quiet and perform well.

Tyres perform really well offering plenty of grip and feel in all road conditions especially the wet. Dry performance a feedback could be better right on the limit but is always predictable and more than good enough for daily driving. Wear rate on my current vehicle is acceptable: rears lasting 12-14k miles (RWD 600nm torque) and fronts 25k miles before needing replacement. would definitely continue using these tyres on my daily driver; very confidence inspiring. put them on the wife's Mini too huge transformation and improvement over the Pirelli PZeros. If your looking for an out an out performance tyre for track days etc look elsewhere but for all year round driving in all conditions that inspire confidence when pushed hard these are the best tyres I have found.
