If you're in need of aquaplaning resistance, then the Uniroyal Rain Max 2 is for you.

Boasting an increased number of grooves and gripping edges alongside stiff ribs that spread the load evenly, the Rain Max 2 also stops short on wet roads and is designed to reduce fuel use over a long service life.

Uniroyal Rain Max 2 tyres are available in 13-inch and 16-inch rim sizes.

Three circumferential channels

Uniroyal gave the Rain Max 2 arrow-shaped grooves and three large circumferential channels that run the length of the tread. This helps move water out of the contact patch so a loaded van keeps its footing in heavy rain.

Increased groove count

The Rain Max 2 uses a new tread structure with more grooves to cut through surface water and more gripping edges to bite into the road, which Uniroyal credits with short braking distances on wet and dry tarmac as well as improved cornering stability.

Even pressure distribution

Stiff tread ribs and lateral grooves spread pressure evenly where the Rain Max 2 meets the road. Uniroyal says this reduces friction, which is where the fuel saving and the longer service life both come from.
