Triangle have developed the TR978 as a summer tyre for small and medium cars, offering reliable all-round performance at a value price. 

Triangle TR978 tyres are available in a range of passenger car fitments from 14 to 16 inch.

Traction and Braking

A high sipe-density pattern improves traction and helps deliver shorter braking distances, while a special rubber compound boosts grip and keeps its shape in high temperatures. This gives confident grip on both dry and wet roads.

Wet Performance and Low Noise

Four deeper symmetrical grooves channel water out of the tread to resist aquaplaning, while curved grooves reduce tyre noise. This combines wet-weather safety with a quiet, refined ride.

Stability and Handling

A straight centre tread with small angled grooves improves straight-line stability and ride comfort, while larger shoulder blocks add wear resistance and increase the tyre's manoeuvrability.
