Michelin have developed the XZX as a summer passenger car tyre for classic vehicle applications. The tyre evolved from the Michelin ZX and is designed to support traction on slippery surfaces through its drainage-focused tread pattern and lateral siping.

XZX tyres are available in a range of classic passenger car fitments.

Circumferential drainage grooves

The XZX uses two large circumferential grooves within the tread pattern. These grooves help evacuate water from the contact patch, supporting grip on slippery road surfaces.

Continuous lateral grooves

The tyre features continuous lateral grooves to assist water drainage across the tread. This layout helps maintain road contact and supports more consistent control in wet conditions.

Snow surface siping

The XZX includes numerous sipes across the tread pattern. These small cuts provide additional biting edges, helping improve lateral grip on snow-covered surfaces.
