Michelin have developed the Primacy 3 ST - "Silence Tuned" - as a premium touring summer tyre. Prioritising a quiet, comfortable and safe drive for large cars. Suitable for EVs and traditional sedans, this version adds Michelin Acoustic Technology for further noise reduction.

Primacy 3 ST Acoustic tyres are available in a range of passenger car fitments.

Silence

EvenPeak Technology uses a tread pattern with a wide spectrum of tread-block sizes to spread noise across a range of frequencies. Making the tyre around 8% quieter. A polyurethane Acoustic foam ring reduces interior noise further.

Comfort

CushionGuard Technology combines a flexible FlexMax tread compound, a shock-absorbent sidewall and a noise-filtering rubber layer to cushion the vibrations caused by uneven roads. This delivers a notably smooth, comfortable ride.

Braking and Control

The FlexMax compound improves road contact for shorter braking distances on wet and dry roads, while StabiliGrip Technology moulds an interlocking band into the sipes to limit tread-block deformation - maintaining grip and helping cut through water film.
