Michelin have developed the Pilot Super Sport Zero Pressure as an ultra high performance summer passenger car tyre with runflat capability.

Based on the Pilot Super Sport, it uses dual compound tread technology and racing-derived materials to support handling, grip, braking and high-speed stability.

Zero Pressure runflat design

The Pilot Super Sport Zero Pressure is the runflat version of the Pilot Super Sport. This construction is designed to allow continued mobility for a limited distance after a puncture or pressure loss.

Dual compound tread

The tyre uses dual compound technology across the inner and outer tread sections. The outer section features a carbon black reinforced compound derived from Michelin’s Le Mans 24 experience.

Wet grip compound

The inner tread section uses a compound with latest-generation elastomers. This supports wet grip and braking performance, helping the tyre maintain control in both dry and wet conditions.
