Michelin have developed the Pilot Sport S 5 as a high-performance tyre for drivers of performance vehicles who need precise handling and grip on road and track. It has been co-designed with vehicle manufacturers and uses Dual Sport Tread Design with Bi-Compound Technology to support wet and dry performance.
Pilot Sport S 5 tyres are available in 19 inch, 20 inch, 21 inch and 22 inch tyres.
The Pilot Sport S 5 has been developed in conjunction with high-performance vehicle manufacturers. This tailored approach supports fitment requirements for performance cars from brands including Corvette, Ferrari, Lucid, Mercedes-AMG, Porsche and Tesla.
Dual Sport Tread Design with Bi-Compound Technology uses large tread blocks to support grip on road and track. Its compound and large grooves help maintain wet-road grip by managing water within the tread area.
A hybrid aramid and nylon belt is used within the tyre structure. This construction helps transmit steering inputs effectively, supporting responsive handling and control during performance driving.
