Michelin have developed the Pilot Sport EV as a summer performance tyre for high-performance electric vehicles. The tyre is designed to support electric vehicle handling, battery range, wet grip and reduced cabin noise through EV-focused compounds and Acoustic Technology.
Pilot Sport EV tyres are available in a range of passenger car fitments.
Acoustic noise reduction
The Pilot Sport EV features Michelin Acoustic Technology to reduce noise resonance within the tyre. This helps lower perceived cabin noise, supporting a quieter driving experience in electric sports vehicles.
Electric vehicle efficiency
The tyre uses GreenPower Compound on the shoulders with a thinner top belt using less raw material. This construction is designed to improve battery range, helping support longer journeys in high-performance electric vehicles.
Handling and torque control
The Pilot Sport EV uses MaxTouch technology to maximise road contact and distribute acceleration, braking and cornering forces evenly. Its ElectricGrip Compound and high-stiffness centre profile support torque transmission, wet grip and high-speed handling.
