Michelin have developed the Pilot Sport 3 Acoustic as a summer tyre for sport-oriented and high‑performance saloons.

Aimed at combining driving performance with reduced cabin noise. It incorporates Michelin Acoustic technology and a Green Power compound to balance grip, efficiency and tyre life.

Pilot Sport 3 Acoustic tyres are available in 19 inch and 20 inch rim tyre sizes.

Noise Reduction

Michelin Acoustic technology applies a layer of polyurethane foam to the tyre’s inner surface to absorb vibrations and reduce noise generated by the tyre. This lowers interior noise levels, improving cabin quietness. 

Optimised Water Evacuation

The tyre’s updated profile and tread pattern are designed to evacuate water from the contact patch and manage water displacement. This reduces the risk of aquaplaning and helps maintain grip on wet roads. 

Green Power Compound

The Green Power compound is formulated to provide grip on both dry and wet surfaces while reducing rolling resistance. That balance supports improved fuel efficiency and contributes to extended tyre life.
