Metzeler have developed the KAROO 4 as an adventure and maxi enduro motorcycle tyre. It has been designed to deliver balanced performance across both off-road terrain and on-road riding.
The tyre builds on the previous KAROO range with updated tread design and compound technology. All of which helps to improve traction, durability and rider feedback.
KAROO 4 tyres are available in a range of 19 inch and 21 inch rim tyre sizes.
The tyre features a patented tread pattern incorporating DETRATEC dual-effect traction technology. This design allows the tread blocks to collect and release material, supporting traction on loose surfaces while maintaining self-cleaning properties.
An optimised footprint increases the number of tread blocks in contact with the ground. This helps improve stability, rolling smoothness and interaction with electronic rider aids.
A new generation compound is engineered to provide durability and performance across a wide temperature range. The multi-pitch tread layout reduces noise and improves ride smoothness during road use.
The Metzeler Karoo 4 B (F900GS) is a summer tyre.
