Hankook have developed the Ventus S1 evo3 ev SealGuard as a summer tyre designed for luxury electric vehicles. It is engineered to deliver stable high-performance handling along with low noise. Combining an EV-focused construction with advanced compound and tread technologies.
This variant features Hankook's sealguard technology - which is designed to automatically seal punctures caused by nails or sharp objects in the tread area.
Ventus S1 evo3 ev tyres are available in 17 inch, 18 inch, 19 inch, 20 inch and 21 inch rim tyre sizes.
The tyre uses an aramid hybrid cord construction to control deformation under high-speed and high-load conditions. This helps maintain a stable contact patch by reducing expansion caused by centrifugal forces.
Interlocking grooves in the tread pattern are designed to enhance water evacuation and maintain grip on wet surfaces. A wide and stiff centre rib helps manage the high torque output of electric vehicles, reducing slip during acceleration.
Foam-based acoustic technology is integrated within the tyre to reduce noise generated from road contact. This helps absorb vibrations and lower cabin noise, which is particularly important in electric vehicles.
