Hankook have developed the Winter i*cept evo2 as an ultra high performance winter tyre for passenger cars. It is engineered to deliver traction, stability and control across snow, wet and dry winter conditions. This variant features runflat technologies.
Winter i*cept evo2 tyres are available in a range of passenger car fitments.
The tyre features a snow-focused asymmetric tread pattern with snow-pick and zig-zag grooves. These elements increase the number of biting edges and improve interaction with snow-covered surfaces.
Wide longitudinal aqua grooves are designed to channel water away from the contact patch. The increased groove width improves resistance to aquaplaning while maintaining stability on wet and slushy roads.
A square profile with wide shoulder blocks improves stability and grip on dry winter roads. The block design maintains stiffness under load, supporting precise steering and cornering performance. Additional features such as sealant technology and runflat capability further enhance usability and safety.
