Continental VanContact A/S Eco

Continental VanContact A/S Eco product description & features

• Fuel savings
• Quieter journeys
• All-weather safety

If you’re in the market for fuel and energy savings, then the Continental VanContact A/S Eco is for you.

Boasting a high-pitch tread sequence and snow catchers within a V-shaped tread, the VanContact A/S Eco also runs quietly and grips confidently in wet and snowy conditions.

Continental VanContact A/S Eco tyres are available in 16-inch rim sizes.

Smart Energy Casing

A lightweight Smart Energy Casing and a completely new steel cord belt system cut the energy lost on every rotation of the VanContact A/S Eco, and Continental say rolling resistance is 21% lower than its predecessor. Paired with a newly developed compound, that helps both combustion and electric vans go further.

High-pitch tread sequence

Reduced spacing between tread blocks and an optimised pitch sequence produce a soft hum rather than a drone, making the VanContact A/S Eco more than one decibel quieter than the tyre it replaces – noticeable both in town and on long motorway runs.

Snow catchers and V-shaped sipes

Snow catchers, a V-shaped tread and innovative sipes give the VanContact A/S Eco reliable braking on snow, while a high lateral void pattern clears water quickly – Continental claim 10% better resistance to aquaplaning.

The Continental VanContact A/S Eco is currently manufactured in one variant:

• Van

Please note: before you select your tyres, check that the tyre size you intend to buy matches your vehicle type.
