Continental have developed the ContiSportContact 5P as an ultra-high performance summer tyre for powerful cars. SSR runflat technology is available, allowing continued driving after a puncture.

Grip & Braking Confidence

The block sides of the tyre carry a 45-degree-angled 3D groove that prevents the block edges from tilting, creating a larger effective contact area under braking. Combined with the sticky, interlocking surface of Continental's Black Chili Compound, this delivers short braking distances on both wet and dry roads. 

SSR Runflat Technology

The SSR system is a runflat technology built around a self-supporting reinforced sidewall, and it remains compatible with all standard rims. In the event of a puncture, the reinforced sidewall stops the tyre being crushed between the rim and the road or slipping off the rim, allowing the driver to continue.
